Sam

Sam earned his B.A. from Princeton University, where he majored in history and minored in East Asian Studies. He holds an M.A. from Columbia University, where he is currently working on his Ph.D. in United States history.

Prior to joining Interface, Sam taught English language and English writing as a Princeton in Asia Fellow to university students in Hong Kong. Proficient in Mandarin, Sam is familiar with the difficulties of writing in a foreign language, and is eager to help students conquer those challenges. As a teacher, Sam believes in helping students find and develop their own voice as a means to express themselves and their ideas as clearly and compellingly as possible.
