Angel
Dr. Angel Valchinov is an internationally-recognized musician, teacher, and a violinist. For more than twenty years he continues to teach in the United States, Bulgaria, Japan, and others. Currently a faculty at Bunker Hill College in Boston, and Concord Conservatory of Music (where he is String Department Chair), his students have won awards and established successful careers.
In the summer he is String Department Coordinator of the Atlantic Music Festival in Colby College, Maine, USA, where some of the best faculty and students from around the world come to work together. In addition, he is a judge of a number of competitions, including the International Youth Music Competitions. He performs solo with orchestras in the United States, as well as solo recitals and as a concertmaster of orchestras worldwide. Bulgarian National TV has made a documentary about his success and he has been featured on a number of Television stations. Dr. Valchinov holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Violin Performance from Boston University.
